With exceptional pleasure, we take this opportunity to welcome all of you to UPISACON 2025, to be held from 24th -26th October 2025, hosted by SGPGIMS, Lucknow under the aegis of ISA Lucknow city branch. Preconference workshop on 24th and conference from 25-26th October.
UPISACON 2025 promises to be a landmark scientific extravaganza which will have meticulous and thought-provoking scientific topics of contemporary importance and encouraging deliberations amongst the delegates. The conference will also have workshop related to relevant and modern topics aimed to initiate the novices as well as refining the skills of the veterans.
Lucknow is the capital city of Uttar Pradesh which is built on the banks of Gomti river and which traces its origins to the era of epics when it was called Lakshmanpuri named after Lakshmana, brother of Lord Rama. The city has a long and rich cultural history which consisted of the amalgamation with the Nawabi Tehzeeb which still is characteristic of the city
Lucknow is the hub of gastronomic delights and will be the ideal place to savour the delicacies which are available in abundance. We will ensure that the culinary connoisseurs amongst you will not be disappointed with the lavish fare of Awadhi cuisine which we have planned to lay out for you.
Lucknow is well connected to the rest of the country via road, rail and air. It is an idyllic tourist destination which offers landmarks like Imambara, Roomi Darwaza and Residency for the history buffs amongst you. Markets of chikankari embroidery are a must visit for gifting the loved ones back at home. The city is also well connected to important tourist hubs like Ayodhya, Prayagraj and Varanasi which can also be covered during or after the conference.
The weather during September will be moderate in Lucknow and we hope the visitors will find it pleasant without the need of heavy woollens.
